My new working spot in now in the basement XD 

So the last couple days my wisdom teeth started bothering me again. I think it's because they're growing out so the gums are splitting and what not and...just causing pain ; ^; It's so sad though cause I'm actually having trouble chewing solid foods and I don't eat as much as I normally do =(

I finished the long skirt of Wenji's a couple of days ago (Yay! Finally some progress x.x) but I was being stupid starring at the mirror and comparing it to the image on my computer screen reassuring myself the fold was on the right direction. WRONG. Had to re-sew it orz... well this would probably be the smallest error I make so far. There's still plenty of chances to make mistakes in the future.

I'm just about finished with the black dress that goes over the blue dress. Frog clasps need to be added though. After cutting out some many moons I felt like I was making a Sailor Moon costume XD... I'm having trouble deciding if I should just glue the moons on instead of sewing =( If it's just glued, the moons look smoother except you can see the lines where the glue was. If it's sewn on, it matches how the gold borders the black but looks wrinkly and messy. *slams head on table* I dunno what to do ._.  I'm glueing it >>. I should stop typing things when I'm waiting for my glue gun to warm up...

While randomly surfing through some random stuff I came across "Love Colored Ward" from Vocaloid by Hatsune Miku... I actually started to like it quite a bit after watching the MV and looking at her cute nurse outfit =] and as usual this means...checking for cosplay images XD... I came across some lovely cosplayers that dressed up as Miku, Rin, Meiko and Luka. I have to admit, I'm totally in love with Luka's  ; v; ...it sucked me in cause it was purple .___. and the hat!!! omigosh >_< I'm slightly tempted to make it now but I doubt I will have enough time at the moment especially since I'm working four days in a row before I leave for LA orz...

PS. I'm also a little tempted to enter the karaoke contest at Anime Expo. Eh, we'll see. XD

Temporary white laces with rust in bg XD

Woo... guess I didn't keep that promise of mine... ; ^; *gets hit*

BUT... I did manage to finish Rocket's boots! =D They were completed about a week ago but they were laced temporarily (and man was it ugly...) with Hope's shoelaces and the pair of shoes I used as a reference to make Hope's shoes. There was rust on the laces...x_x But yes, I made a trip to Marshall's and finally bought some lace and wallah! Here's a picture. There was about 4m of lace used for each leg x_x

I felt miserable hammering away at the fabric...(partially due to the hot weather and my unexpected guests) pretty much mumbling "I never wanna hammer again" over and over which eventually transferred to lacing XD... ah I'm such a bad worker T.T...

I am happy that they turned out functional. Zippers work...eyelets work (though a couple did fall out and were replaced) I dunno. What do you guys think?

Other news? Umm... Semi Annual Sale (aka SAS) is happening at VS so I stocked up on panties for a good deal of $2.50 each =]...Come visit me at work? XD and as usual, I wish I didn't have to work tomorrow. But luckily, I was given the next 6 days off after so I hope I'll be giving a couple more updates then. I'm hoping to start on Wenji tomorrow before work.

The art of hammering. Shoes...shoes shoes shoes. I don't really understand why, but I do slightly enjoy making shoes more then sewing shirts or other tops of costumes. Especially sleeves -shakes fist- XD
Anywho... here's just a small update on Rocket's booTs (as everyone hears or reads as boobs) from Sucker Punch.

This does remind me of when I made Hope's shoes last year. I'm quite proud how they turned out especially on camera cause they look funny when you look at them when they're worn =(

Good memories of back in the day making Naruto sandals for the very first time when I first started cosplaying =]

Now I wish I made a blog earlier in my life... good place to ramble/rant about making stuff XD But yes, I'll make a promise now that I'll try to get more stuff done by tomorrow... and hopefully another update.
